These six deposits were made from January to November of 1891. The ore was all in gold. They were deposited by the Bank of California for Dasso & Tiscornia (who must have sent the bullion to the Bank of California). Dasso & Tiscornia ran a stage out of San Andreas in the late 1880's and early 1890's. The 1886-87 McKenney's Pacific Coast Directory showed they had a general merchandise store in San Andreas also. The Dasso / Tiscornia Store still stands at 35 North Main Street. In the 1880's the Dasso brothers also owned a Livery Stable [Northern Calaveras County by Marvin, et al] Date: 1891 City: San Francisco State: California HWAC# 57379
