The claim actually goes into the Virginia Mining District. 25c United States Bond revenue stamp. Most importantly has a scarce Nevada SCARLET VERMILION ROULETTE 25c REVENUE stamp. Britton & Co. printer. Hand cancelled. Discoloration on edges. Pin holes. Reverse has assessment stamps numbered 31 and 32. Signed by president Thomas H. Williams. Williams was considered one of the smartest lawyers on the Comstock. He made a fortune with a mine he got in a sheriff's sale, turned it into Consolidated Virginia stock, sold that at the top of the market and invested that money into California land.
