John G. Bullock rose from a humble beginning, working as a boy of eleven in a grocery store to the Presidency of Bullock's retail stores of Southern California. 1933 program to the unveiling of his statue; 1929 program for the Bullock's Office Group Sixth Annual Dinner; 1924 program for Bullock's Choral Society. Bullock's was a chain of full-line department stores from 1907 through 1995, headquartered in Los Angeles, growing to operate across California, Arizona and Nevada.
