A group of six issued stock certificates from this famous Idaho mining company. Three issued in 1907, one issued in 1910, one issued in 1941, and one issued in 1955. Inc. in Portland, Oregon. The 1907 and 1910 certificates were signed by F.W. Bradley as president. Frederick Worthen Bradley (1863-1933) was a mining engineer and president of several mining companies. The mine had thousands of feet of underground workings. It produced silver and lead. The mine was noted for producing some fine quality Pyromorphite crystal specimens. The Coeur D'Alene district was discovered when placer gold was found in 1883. Lead-silver ores were found at Wallace in 1885, the same year the Bunker Hill was staked by Noah Kellogg and others. The neighboring mine, the Sullivan, was staked at the same time. In 1887, the new owners, The Bunker Hill and Sullivan Mining & Concentrating Co. was incorporated. By 1981, the company had acquired most of the important mines in the Wallace area and produced over $2 Billion in metals, ranking it among the top ten mines in America.
