On 6:45 A.M. CST, March 19, 1948 a tornado decimated the town of Bunkerhill, Illinois and unfortunately killed nineteen people. This collection of real photo black and white postcards shows the destruction. Includes two bird's eye views of the wreckage. Photos show extensive damage and clean-up effort. The Catholic Church was a total loss and two statues remain standing. Tent camps are set-up as part of the clean-up effort.
