This forfeiture will result in the merchandise becoming the property of HWAC and the successful bidder shall have no claim to or rights over the forfeited merchandise.
Horatio Burchard's follow-up to Ross Raymond's Minerals Resources West of the Rocky Mountains series. In this critical series, the Bureau covers the major ore deposit discoveries and production of the 1880s, inclusive of Bodie, Leadville and all over the West, The work is also triple indexed, as it Raymond. In this case, as well as Raymond, Burchard visited different mining districts each year, such that many districts have no reports during various years. As you can imagine, it was difficult to get around in 1880, thus Burchard had to pick and choose where he went, knowing full well that if he overdid it, the fed would not pay him, like they left Raymond and Browne out in the dark for some of their work.
This is another "must-have" for any mining historian or professional.
The 1884 volume has been rebound.
The group is complete, rarely offered.
