Bernadine Tsosie was the weaver (original tag in place). The Burntwater Navajo rug style was developed by Bruce Burnham and Don Jacobs of the Burntwater Trading Post near Sanders in the 1960's. The designs have similar characteristics to the Two Grey Hills area, but are woven using vegetal dye colors, and are usually more colorful than Two Grey Hills, with uses of lavender, gold, deep wine colors. This weaving's colors are warm rich rust brown, tan, gray, black-brown, and white. Weaving, 3’ X 2.08’.
