c.1900 business card for The Brown Palace Hotel, Broadway at Seventeenth Street, Denver. H.D. Harvey, personal representative. 2.75" x 4.25" on thick cardstock. Built in 1892 of granite and sandstone with an iron and steel frame, it was promoted as one of America's first fireproof structures. Original owner was Henry Brown, who homesteaded the Capitol Hill area of Denver. The hotel was the site of a high-profile murder in 1911.
