Cabinet card is 6.5 x 4.25". Shows a man posing. Back in pencil says, "Ford playing part of Jesse James." Perhaps for some sort of production, because the part seems to be overplayed. In 1895 and 1896 the Lenz Brothers were photographers in Dubuque, Iowa. This photograph does not list the studio as Lenz Brothers, but rather as Ph. W. Lenz. Perhaps the "Ph" stands for a name or for Photographer. In 1900 there is a Nicholas Lenz listed in the Census as a photographer living in Julien in Dubuque County.
