Fabulous Western view of Colorado Springs showing two stagecoaches (incl. one for travel between Cripple Creek and Colorado Springs) with passengers and an express office in the background (Pacific Express Company). According to Mautz, Poley was active at this address in Colorado Springs from 1892-1901. The majority of the wear is on the border (chips and soiling). The photograph area is actually very clean, with a 1.5" crease line. Contrast is medium. Reverse has printed information for Horace S. Poley, Photographer./ Finishing for Amatuers/ 713 N.
