Many miners are pictured, some with pails. Reverse has pen notations: "Idaho miners" and "Mrs. A.E. Hooper, 436 Henderson St. , Grass Valley." Measures 8.25" x 5." Contrast is low. Soiling on front and back. Mrs. A.E. Hooper was listed as running a hotel in Fairfield in 1893. By 1880, the Idaho and Empire were the only mines operating in Grass Valley.
