Santo Domingo (Kewa) circular red pottery dough bowl ~ geometrically decorated to upper exterior in black on white, spirit trail on rim, 5" h x 11" diameter. Overall good condition, with general darkening, scratches, scattered nicks and general abrasion to rim commensurate with age. This bowl was purchased at a Santo Domingo festival from the grand daughter of the maker. She had put her (the maker's) name on the base--Maria Z. Calabaza, Santo Domingo--with a price she was selling it for at the time.
