Small prospector vignette. Red logo. Folds, a few smudges. 7.75 x 12" Information is scarce on this company, but according to Annual Report of Dept. of the Interior, 1876, the company owned the California Boy Mine in the Ophir District, Tooele County, Utah. 1875 Newspaper reports from Tooele County also mention a California Boy, and further pinpoint the mine to Dry Canyon. It shows from four to five feet of ore and vein matter, mostly galena and carbonates. The incline in now in about twenty feet. Owned by Messrs. Pitner, Cromwell, Nagle & Co.
