Group of four framed photographs of California gold dredges. Dredges were able to extract gold from gravel and dirt by using water.
A) Framed and matted photograph of an unidentified gold dredge. There is a sign on the dredge that reads "Indiana No. 2." The photograph is 6.5 x 4.75 in a 11 x 9 wooden frame, very good condition.
B) Framed photograph of the Tuolumne Gold Dredging Corp. in La Grange, Stanislaus County, California. Dated June 10, 1938. Photograph is 10.75 x 6.75 in a 12 x 7.5 frame, good condition.
C) Framed photograph of a gold dredge under construction by the Yuba Construction Co. This is labeled as a "International Film Service Photo." Photograph is 19.5 x 7.25 in a 20.5 x 8 wood frame, no glass. Frame is old and in poor condition. Photograph top left corner is ripped off - piece is not present. 2-3" tear from corner. See photo.
D) Reprint of a photograph of an unidentified dredge. Photograph is 9.75 x 7.75 in a 12.75 x 10.5 wooden frame, very good condition.
