Underwood, trustee, on Jan. 20th, 1881 in New York. Signed by the president (Chas. Bermer) and secretary (Prescott Burbank). Not cancelled. Orange border, black print, and vignette of miners wearing headlamps. Printed by The Hatch Lith. Co., NY. 8.25 x 11" Heavy folds, toning (mostly on reverse). Other light wear. Not listed in Balch, 1882. Not in Filer. No additional information could be found in our numerous Bodie references.

Crocker & Co. printer. LIghtest of discoloration on top border. 2) Same as one. # 63 for 5,540 shares to DJ Kertchem. Signed by PJ Williams and president George H Boyd. Not cancelled. Uneven cut. Slight discoloration left from attachment to the mining book.

4) Mammoth Gravel Mining Company. Unissued. Location Butte County. Incorporated September 19, 1879. Stamp on back reads, "From AL Bancroft & Co.'s Bank & Official Department. 721 Market Street, San Francisco, Cal."

5) The Los Angeles and San Gabriel Valley Rail Road Co. Two certificates. One unissued. #12, I/C, 1060 shares common stock @ $100 par. Issued to J.P. Jewitt Mat 20, 1885. President signature not readable. BLACK, embossed seal w/4-4-0 loco center, vignette 4-4-0 passing countryside and eagle wings spread at bottom. Printer unknown. Both certificates are in EF cond.
