1) Olive Copper, Gold, Silver Mining & Tunneling Company. Ben Franklin, Lady Franklin, and Lady Washington Ledges, Russian River District, Sonoma County (printed at left). Inc. February 10, 1864. Dateline Windsor, Sonoma Co., Cal., March 5th, 1864. No. 55, issued to A.C. Bledsoe for 20 shares.

2) Hermitage Mining Company. Inc. 1866 in Boston. Low number 9, issued for 125 shares to Charles Maguire on August 19th, 1868. Signed by G.E. Maguire, treasurer, and the president (illegible). According to an article in the Sacramento Daily Union (Dec. 25, 1868), the company's claims were a gold-quartz vein known as "Hermitage Ranch" and "Hermitage Quartz Mine" in El Dorado County. Browne (1868) discusses the claim, located 6 miles south of El Dorado at Sugar Loaf. $100,000 yielded. A second mill of 20 stamps was erected in 1866 by a Boston company (our stock) who paid $38,000 for the mine. Shaft 175 ft. Vein 10 ft. wide. Tunnel being driven in (pg. 88).

4) Three Tuolumne County Mining Stock Certificates. 1) The Albion Gold Mining Company. No. 134, issued for 50 shares in London in 1853. Signed by directors Price and Nightengale. Printed on linen. Foxing. Property located at Shawmut near Chinese Camp and it produced for a number of years (Logan, plate 8). 2) Homestake Gold Mining Company of Tuolumne. No. 176, issued for 100 shares to Emanuel Grant on July 20th, 1898. Signed by the president and secretary. Not cancelled. Black border and print. Background photo vignette of mine entrance! Two adhesive revenue stamps attached. Folds. 3) Unissued stock for Morse & Evans Gold Mining Company, c. 1870s. Tuolumne District printed at top. Heavy toning and portion missing on the bottom right

6) Marshall Improved Window Furniture Company. # 130 for 120 shares to WH Wasson trustee. SIgned by John DeW Allen and vice president Joseph D Redding.
