Lot of 5. 1) Four 1911 letters from the California Anti-Saloon League. Contents: regarding Local Option law introduced to Assembly by Mr. Wyllie of Dinuba; two letters refer to trying to flip a "no-vote" from Senator Sanford ("Please stir up all the friends of good government" and "Cannot you start something that will result in convincing Sanford that his constituents desire the bill to pass?"); last letter refers to republishing an article from the Sacramento Bee ("republish or use an part thereof...in letting the public know about the facts."). Three are from the Sacramento office, one from San Francisco. 2) Bulletin from the State Prohibition Headquarters in Los Angeles regarding three workers' conferences being held by the Prohibitionists: "the move for a dry State will doubtless be supported from all parts of California."
