This unique little coin case made of copper features the mine buildings around Shaft No. 2 of the Calumet Mine in the Copper Country of Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula. The small copper box, about 1-1/4-inch square and 3/4-inch thick, opens to reveal a spring-loaded coin holder that can fit nickels, pennies, and dimes. This could have been a souvenir of the Keweenaw National Historic Park in Calumet, Michigan.
