The Cambria and Indiana Railroad was located in the southeastern part of Indiana County, Pennsylvania. Incorporated in 1904 and built in 1910 with the intention of carrying lumber, it became a coal railroad after a large discovery in the area. C& I became the "richest railroad in the country", generating the most revenue per mile of track, during the 1930s and 1940s. HWAC# 52440
