This classic mine artifact from the Cambridge Mine, Lyon Co., Nevada is perfect for any museum quality display as a mining relic. FOB Carson City, the relic is very fragile, but can be moved intact on a sheet of plywood in its arrested decay state. This is another mine relic that is gone from the countryside, others long since eroded and decomposed to the earth. The Cambridge Mine was located between Yerington and Pine Grove Nevada. These items come from the Rink family, who owned and operated the mine historically. The company files will be offered in a future sale. The mine was reportedly discovered in the 1860’s, and reopened in the 1930’s. It appears to be a mine without a district, thus is unreported in Couch & Carpenter or Lincoln.
