Nice specimen. 0.75 ounces. 0.5 x 1.5 x 1.25". Contains native gold. Camp Douglas, is also known as Douglass and Camp Douglass, is 8 miles southwest of Mina as the road goes. . In 1893 gold and silver veins were discovered and there was considerable activity up until 1903 - almost half a million dollars worth of ore was extracted. The boom at Tonopah drew many people away from the area. The site was in Esmeralda County, but later border shifting placed it inside Mineral County. State:Nevada City:Mina Date: ID#45696
