NOTICE OF LOCATION for a 1,500 x 600-foot mining claim in Camp Floyd, Utah Territory, dated September 30, 1895, executed by W.S. Tyler, W.J. Moorhead, R.H. Gilliland, Ed. Williams, Joe Burton, Hurb Baston, R.W. Nichol, and Wm. Besten, each assigned 1/8 of the value. Ten lines of descriptive location references place it near the Electric Spark Shaft, and notes this claim is designated as Connecting Link Claim No 1. Over the eight names is an embossed seal // C.C.
