Very rare; we have no records of selling this in the past 8 years. Inc. in Colorado. No. 127, issued for 250 shares to John Hudson in St. Louis in 1889. Signed by president J. Marriott and secretary Jeffrey. Not cancelled. Black border and print. Gorgeous large vignette of small mining camp in the mountains with train rolling by. Smaller vignette of prospector at upper left. Printed by Compton Litho Co., St. Louis. Folds. Not listed in C&L. No mentions on newspapers.com. On CHNC, we could find announcements of the company having stockholder meetings, but no description of their property. Camp Summit was located on the Middle Fork, Monarch Mining District, Chaffee County, 2.5 miles above the famous Columbus Mine. We find mentions in 1881-82 of other properties there including the Silver King Mine, and Mason & French Lodes. Rare location.
