In 1894 George Smith Patton ran for Congress, he lost. Not only was he the father of future WWII General George S. Patton, but he served as the first mayor of the town of San Marino. He was also close friends with philanthropist Henry E. Huntington, his neighbor. The sign is in excellent condition and ready to be matted and framed. This is a must for any military buff. Please see photos for more details. [San Marino] [California]
