This a Carcano battle carbine invented by Stephen Carcano in 1890 and produced between 1891 and 1945; used by Italian, Japanese, and German forces in both WW 1 and WW 11. Used up until 1981. A cartouche on the stock. Gardone on top V. T. with 12-inch folding bayonet. This was Italian WWII carbine used by Italian troops in Africa in WWII.
