Lot of 3 items from the Fred Holabird Collection. 1) Rare corner ad cover for the Carson Exchange Hotel, 1897. Reverse has ads for businesses in Carson, as well as the Lake Shore Hotel in Glenbrook. 2) Trade card for Ed. Burlington, Carson City, Nev., for shoes. 3) Small undated letterhead for The Briggs House. In 1894 the three-story St. Charles Hotel merged with the two-story Muller Hotel next door to become the Briggs House. It kept this name until 1910, when it was renamed the Golden West Hotel.
