Approx. 8 billheads some with beautiful pictorials. 1 of the checks is signed by Trenmore Coffin, Attorney at Law, who in 1893, represented former mint employee J. Heney, who was later convicted of stealing gold from the mint. In Attorney Coffin's failed attempt to get Heney exonerated, he then bribed certain people to lie. Attorney Coffin was then charged with bribery & corruption but was able to get charges dropped on technicality. This would be a conversation piece for Carson City Historians! Fun Lot!
