Lot of 2 different CC Mint memorandum forms. One is for Silver Bullion and the other is for Gold Bullion. Both are dated 1891 and are for deposits made CH Peters for the Bullion & Exchange Bank. (Peters was an insurance agent in Carson City). Both are signed by LL Elrod for the Supt. The gold bullion deposit is small (8.8 ounces), 0.661 fineness. Possibly from Gold Hill? The silver bullion deposit is for a large bar, 1,281 ounces, .949 silver fineness. Each is 6.5 x 11" This was during the final 2 years the Mint produced coins, halting minting in 1893.
