Lot of 2 different. Rare Mono County ghost town mining camp! Inc. in Arizona. 1) No. 460, issued to H. Pratt for 1,000 shares in 1906. Signed by the president BF Brazee and secretary. Not cancelled. Gold border and seal, black and gold print, and a mining vignette. Deep folds, toning. 2) No. 1737, issued for five shares to Ralph Nye in 1908. Same corp. signatures. Not cancelled. Black border, gold seal, black and gold print, and 3 mining vignettes. Deep folds, toning. A 1909 article in the Tonopah Daily Bonanza has the title "Casa Diablo Producing Bars of Bullion" and describes the mill in production with 40 men employed, including 26 underground. Not listed in the 1908 or 1909 Copper Handbook. The 1910 Mines Directory describes it as being in the Sherwin District, Mono County. They are 24 miles from the railroad and have 19 unpatented claims. They have a 10-stamp mill, boarding houses, a hydro-electric plant, and an 80 acre townsite. Developments include a 700 ft. tunnel and several thousand feet of drifts.
