1870s ledger with details of bull studding. This ledger has records of which cows were bred with which bulls, the day calves were born, and whether they were overdue or premature. It also has remarks about whether the calf survived or not. Several unrelated New York newspaper article clippings are pasted onto the inside covers. There is also a photograph of a building and a letter envelope postmarked from Morris, IL, addressed to New York City, dated 1877, tucked inside the front cover. 112 pp of which only 4 pp have handwritten notes. 8.25" x 6.75", good condition.
