Lot of 2 different. 1) Continental Silver Mining Company. "Mines at Reveille, Nye County" printed under title. Inc. in NY. No 134, issued for 100 shares to HB Goodwin in 1881 in NY. Signed by president Western and secretary Hull. Not cancelled. Pinholes, deep folds. In 1881, the White Pine News listed delinquent sales and them operating near Hamilton, White Pine County. 2) St. Peters Consolidated Gold & Silver Mining Company. Inc. in Illinois. Mine located in the Antelope District, Eureka County, Nevada. No. 99, issued for 20 shares to William Whalen, the company president on August 17th, 1887. Also signed by the company secretary (Fay). Not cancelled. Silver seal and border, facsimile revenue imprint. Vignette of mine. Printed by John Norris, Chicago. This company operated the Old Whalen mine some 2.5 miles east of the present-day ghost town of Alpha, Eureka Co.
