He mentions unfavorable reference to "Jacobs & Co.," well known merchants and bankers, and cautions Witherell to "Watch them, please." Signed E.B. Cerro Colorado, located in Pima County, Arizona, was the home of the Cerro Colorado Mine, also known as the Heintzelman Mine. E.B. Gage is well-known to Western collectors and historians because of his time spent in Tombstone when Wyatt Earp and company were present and his associations with them and Doc Holliday.
