This specimen was recovered at one of the world's most important mineral specimen producing mines, the now closed, but historically important underground copper mine at Tsumeb, Namibia. Cerussite is an important ore of lead, but to mineral collectors it is prized for the complexity of its crystallization and its brilliance.
