A group of three very recognizable character actors dating back to the 1920's. First we have a signed and inscribed 8 x 10-inch B&W photo of Allen Jenkins. Jenkins (1900-1974) began acting in Hollywood in 1932 and had a career that spanned over 40 years and included films like "Destry Rides Again" with Jimmy Stewart, "Dead End" with Humphrey Bogart and "Tortilla Flat" with Spencer Tracy. His television credits include "Police Story," Bewitched" and "Batman" to name a few. Also included is a signed and inscribed 8 x 10-inch B&W photo of versatile actor Edward Everett Horton (1886-1970). He was famous for playing fussbudget characters alongside the likes of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers in "Top Hat," the nervous director of Happy Dale Sanitarium in "Arsenic & Old Lace" and eventually working for Jay Ward as the narrator of "Fractured Fairytales." Last but certainly not least, we have "The Master of the Macabre" Vincent Price. One of my personal favorites and a very nice man. This 8 x 10-inch B&W is from his later years and is inscribed to Catherine. All three of these gentlemen were solid professionals. Signatures clear. Please see photos for more detail and condition.
