All have advertising on the cover. Lot of ten. 1) Vian. Vian started as a trading post, but ended up on the St. Louis, Iron Mountain line. Blakstone & Co. advertisement. 1892 CDS with target killer. 2) Talala. Formed in 1889, this envelope was mailed in 1906. Corner advertising for the Talala Grain & Coal Company. 3,4) Nowata (two covers). One is a very strong 1901 strike on First National Bank advertising cover, Other advertisement was for EB Lawson attorney. 5) Lenapah. 1903 cover for Hotel Main and Livery Stable. 6, 7) Fort Gibson. One advertising cover for the Palace Drug Store and the other for Schaffer Tie and Lumber. 8) Fairland. Post office was established in 1891. Cover was mailed in 1898. Geometric cancel. Advertising for the Commercial Hotel. 9) Braggs. Nice 1894 CDS with cork cancel. JW Patrick general merchandise and livestock advertisement. 10) Dewey. Very strong 1906 postmark. Advertising for Thomas Bros., General Merchandise. Post office opened in 1899.
