Old and very nice photograph. Literally a dozen people on the stagecoach with dozens more watching. Details are still bright. Only advertisement on a building that is visible is Inter-Ocean. Photographer was CD Kirkland of Cheyenne. Kirkland began studying photography at an early age. In 1872 he made his way westward to Denver. In 1877 he moved north to Cheyenne, Wyoming, where he went back to being a full-time field photographer. Here he captured some of the best early views of Wyoming cowboy and ranching history. Four years later, in 1881, he purchased his Cheyenne studio and continued in business for many years. He soon became known throughout the region as a leading photographer of the west. Cheyenne Wyoming
