Archive of material from Eliza R. Sutton. According to the EMJ Vol. 71, 1901, the company had purchased coal property on Tumbo Island, a shipping channel between Victoria and Vancouver. The same volume also mentions the company buying a controlling interest in the Carthage Group of gold claims near the Ymir Mines (British Columbia). The British Columbia Mining Record, Vol. 8, says the company has bought the Dutch Hill Mining Company's property near Big Bar. The United States Investor, Col. 13, 1902, has an ad fro the company mentioning those properties as well as five rich Texas oil claims, 120 acres of Manganese lands in Shannon County, Missouri, and 1,640 acres of lead and zinc claims in Pulaski County, MO. They were truly invested in many different types of mines here and in Canada! 1) 26 x 12" broadside with plenty of photographs and maps. 2) 31.5 x 11" broadside promoting Beaumont Oil. 3-5) Three stock certificates issued to Eliza Sutton. 6-14) Letters on Letterhead. 15) 1902 Filed Notes on letter size paper. 16) Four page 1902 annual report. 17-22) Receipts to said Eliza Sutton. 23-36) Covers addressed to Eliza Sutton.
