These are two Chickasaw Indian balls sticks or kapuchas. One measures 30 in. the other at 32 in. The center cup weaving is now missing in action. In very good condition. Both are made by the same hand. C. 1920's. Made of hardwood and wrapped leather. The purpose of the game, sometimes used to settle a dispute, was to throw a ball (a towa) at a goal post. The Chickasaw Nation is now recognized in the state of Oklahoma. Please see photo for details.
