Harvesting Spinach (Near the Ruins Outside Peking) is an original watercolor painting of China as it was in the 1920s-early 40s, created by Master Watercolorist, Qin Wei (1911-1936) Qin Wei was considered a National Treasure during his lifetime, due to his artistic skill and contributions. The Watercolors in this sale have been termed China Treasures; they are part of the Colling Private Collection and depict scenes from pre-WWII China mostly in or around Peking (Beijing).
