This letter was written by Helen Osborn of West Andover, Ohio to a male friend in St. Louis, Missouri. It is dated two weeks after the assassination of President Lincoln, calling John Wilkes Booth a "cowardly traitor". Feel the pain of a Nation as the news spreads across the country. Very good condition, light ink very readable. A surprise dried flower is enclosed in the envelope. A fine addition to any Lincoln collector. [
