Two Class III Bryan Dollars: 1) Schornstein 845 (Zerbe 111): One of the most common examples of Bryan Money. BULLION VALUE obverse. Said to have been made by E. Jaccard & Co. and sold at a local fair in St. Louis. The reverse inscription, SIXTEEN TO ONE / WE DON'T THINK, suggests the translation of Aber 16 to 1 NIT is correct. Aluminum, 64mm. Polished; 2) Schornstein 847 (Zerbe 112): Another common example of Bryan Money, BULLION VALUE obverse. WE DON'T THINK reverse. Schornstein describes the piece as weighing 70gm.
