Signed by president Harrington and Isaac Story. Size 8 by 6.5 inches. Canceled. 25c Life Insurance revenue stamp. Green corporate seal. Hand cancelled. Reverse has a note that the first 500 shares go to John L Barry, trustee. "The Clear Creek Tunnel Company own 600 feet on the Kinney Tunnel Lode, on North Clear Creek, in Black Hawk. Adit driven in on creek level and on vein 60 feet, crevice of gossan six feet wide with thin streaks or formations of very rich ore, assaying as high as $600 per ton in gold, improving rapidly. Also a mill site on the creek at mouth of adit, dwelling house and lot nearby, and 2 5 horse engine now in use in a saw mill at Guy Hill." [Hollister, p189] Nice condition.
