Incorporated May 10th, 1863. 25c Certificate revenue stamp. Not cancelled. Location: Gold Hill. Ore wagon being unloaded at a mill - different vignette. Towne & Bacon printer. Light border staining and one small edge rip that does not affect the cert. Cleveland listed in Kelly (1863) but not Collins (1864). Flagg was one of the first trustees of the Virginia City Water Company. He was also a Territorial Senator from Storey County. Flagg ran the Maynard & Flood Bank when Maynard retired to Massachusetts a rich man. Platt was a successful Comstock mining broker. Flagg & Platt were partners in 1864.
