A collection of 21 documents (In many cases, handwritten) from merchants and businesses all over the west, including Montana, Colorado, Kansas and more. The common thread appears to be groceries and dry goods.
Several of the letters are from or to businesses in Coffeyville, Kansas, site of the famous Dalton Gang duel bank holdup in October, 1892. In fact food wholesaler The Wells Bros. were in business during time of the failed bank robbery.
All are in very readable shape.
