The English, Dutch and French are sending fleets to Tangiers. The English fleet is under the command of Sir Thomas Allen. Admiral Sir Thomas Allen, 1st Baronet was an officer of the Royal Navy who saw service in the English Civil War, and the Second and Third Anglo-Dutch Wars. 2) October 21, 1669. Finds Allen in Algiers on a diplomatic mission that would go south. The Algerines had three Men -of-War with 12 more expected in 8 days. The English had 11 frigates and 2 fireships with the rest of the fleet on the way. 3) February 1, 1682. The Ottoman empire would soon establish a principality here. Full page on what is transpiring. 4) August 19, 1686. The Polish King is advancing on Niester with his entire army. 5) June 2, 1698. War with the Ottoman Empire.
