This is a collection from a naval officer during WW2. There are six official US Navy 8X10 photos involving the Battle of the Corral Sea 1942. See Japanese torpedo planes disable the USS Lexington. Another series of photos (official US Navy) shows the Japanese carrier Shokako being attacked by US planes and in torpedo avoidance maneuvers. Another photo album shows post-WW2 occupation of Japan with photos of Okinawa, about 180 photos. A collection of US coins minted from 1941 to 1946. A collection of WW2 trading cards of 80 in all with descriptions of each person including a young John F. Kennedy, 2nd Lt. Audie Murphy, Admiral Yamamoto, Col. Oveta Hobby, and Lt. General James Dolittle. There are two Soldier's Guide books; one for Austria and the other for France for conversational translations. Two record books for rifle practice.
