A) Framed charcoal portrait of Leadville, Colorado boxer, Hop Raney. Portrait is approx. 11.75 x 15 inches. Matted and framed, overall size is 17.5 x 21.5 inches. Portrait is in very good condition. Frame backing has become detached on the right side.
B) Framed broadside advertising a boxing contest between Allen May of Pueblo and Hop Raney of Leadville. This boxing match was a benefit for the Elks' Charity Fund held at the Elks' Opera House in Leadville. Broadside has black letters against an orange background. Broadside is approx. 12 x 17 inches. Overall size of the frame is 17 x 21.75, good condition.
