Dateline Montrose, Colo, March 6th, 1897. Letter addressed to Friend Adsit, from Andy Cady. Andy mentions learning that Jim Moore is no longer working for Adsit at Pandora dumping concentrates and sacking coal. Then he pleads for himself: "I don't see why a rough and uncultured cowpuncher like me could not fill the bill at a job of the above kind. I stayed around Tellurid[sic] as long as my money lasted...It is impossible for a man to get work here at any thing for the cows are about gone..." Two-sided. 8 x 5" Folds.
