Two allegorical women boarder vignette of train at station at a river front. $1000. 1st mortgage 4% 50-yr gold bond. Two Pounds revenue stamp- 10, 2, 3. 70 coupons attached, numbers 31-100. Total authorized issue $10,000,000. Incorporated in 1883, this was the first standard gauge railroad built over the Continental Divide in Colorado. It ran from Colorado Springs to Leadville and through the divide at Hagerman Pass to Glenwood Springs and Grand Junction.
