1) The Colorado Manufacturing Company. $500 bond No. 53, issued in 1881. Signed by vice president AH Garfield and secretary Wm. Todd. Not cancelled. Brown border, black print, combination vignette showing elk, eagle, and Colorado State seal. 13 coupons attached. 12.5 x 16.5" Folds, some toning.

2) The Curtin Anti-Friction Roller Bearing Company. Stock no. 35, issued for 500 shares in Denver in 1888. Signed by the president (Brasin) and secretary (Riley), not cancelled. Black border and print, blue underprint vignette of the device. Pinholes, folds.5.25 x 9"

3) The National Sheet Metal Screw Pipe Company. Stock No. 26, issued for 30,000 shares in Denver in 1894.

4) Pizarro Gold & Silver Mining Co. "of Gilpin County, Colorado." No. 94, issued for 75 shares to Thos. Happersett on April 13th, 1881 in Philadelphia. Signed by president V. Edwards and secretary Scott. Not cancelled. Black ornate border, no vignette. Horizontal and vertical folds. 8 x 10" Owned the Pizarro, Home-stake, and Argo lodes on Bald Mountain, Nevada Mining District. Located in 1880. Assays 112-240 ounces silver per ton. 5) Brooks Snider Consolidated Gold & Silver Mining Co. Shock Hill, Spaulding District, Summit County, Colorado. (printed under vignette). Inc. in New Jersey. No. 226, issued for 100 shares to Annie Neill on Nov. 18th, 1881. Signed by the vice-president and treasurer. Not cancelled. Ornate stock with fancy title and underground mining vignette. Printed by T.S. Dando Lith., Philadelphia. Folds, hole in seal, otherwise very clean. 8 x 12" Owned three claims: the Illinois, Fannie Barrett, and Peerless, situated on the west slope of Shock Hill, one mile from Breckenridge. Discovered in August 1880. Developed by 300 ft. of surface workings and drifts. Also owns a 20 stamp mill. Ore body is a deposit 35 feet thick, lying on the surface, quartzite and sulphides. Assays at $10-100 gold and 50-250 ounces silver per ton. [Ref: 1883 CO Mining Directory, pgs. 756-57]

6)Square Deal Mining, Milling, Drainage Tunnel & Transportation Co. Located at Frisco, Summit County. Very rare and unique style mining stock that includes photo vignettes of the mine and machinery incorporated into the border and an orange underprint map! According to Mining American, 1908, the company had recently installed an electrically-powered compressor plant and drills. Out of operation by 1915.
